Mission Statement

We care about the world, the people in it and believe we all have a social responsibility to help others in need. By engaging our local community we facilitate individuals, groups and companies to make donations of clothing and essential items and to directly purchase key items to support asylum seekers via our partner charities. By facilitating collections of donated items, sharing information about the issues faced by asylum seekers and supporting the work of our partner charities we embody our core values of care, share and support.

Our Vision

In the future, we hope that there will be no need for our community! We aspire that one day there will be no children, families or individuals unable to meet their own basic needs or facing destitution. 

Until that time Our World Collective will continue to be the "go-to-place" in which members of the local community can donate or purchase essential items required by asylum seekers, directed via our partner charities. We aim to make this as easy as possible for those who want to donate by offering to collect items. We help our partner charities by sorting all donations and delivering them appropriately packaged and fully itemised.
